Living each day with purpose and passion and being the most aligned version of yourself available. You honor your body, mind and connect with your surroundings.

You know who you are, what you want, you go after authentic goals and flow with the ups and downs, not basing your overall worthiness on an outcome.

But sometimes it looks more like this: we get a flash of inspiration and make these amazing goals for ourselves, feeling like the achievement of those will make us feel better.

And then all our worst fears and anxieties are triggered, and obstacles appear.

We start to think, "I'm not good enough", "who do I think I am to want this", "I'm not smart enough", "I don't deserve this".

Our triggers highlight what is ready to be healed.

Many of us need to heal these parts that don't feel "enough" in some way.

I want to share something with you...I've excavated hundreds of thousands of old beliefs, but every time I reach a new "life level", there's more work to do.

Anyone that is committed to growth throughout their lifetime will experience this. It's normal. This is why I'm so passionate about bringing awareness to beliefs, and creating a program of subconscious self-care. That way you have the tools and community to uplevel when you're ready.

If you're self-sabotaging, or not even sure what you want or who you are, you're not alone. You're normal.

 

We are so bombarded by what the world wants for us and it's not necessarily what is right or authentic for us.

We're influenced by family, colleagues, bosses, friends, neighbors, acquaintances; media constantly shows us how we should look, act, be and what we should do.

If we want something different for ourselves, it's going to take persistence, dedication, and unraveling what all that outside noise is bringing up.

Going after your goals brings up so many deep-seated fears.

There's uncertainty, you don't know what will happen, you may make mistakes, your worst fears may come true, people may not approve or like you.

Not only that, it can be lonely - not all our families and friends support our growth and change because it stirs up fears in them!

There's a liminal space when you've let go of the old and are stepping into the new and this can feel uncomfortable, scary, and lonely.

It's enough discomfort for anyone to sabotage (so quitting wasn't really your choice , it's out of your control). That's why we ALL do it at some point or another.

Self-sabotage is like an emergency ejection seat when things get too scary and your subconscious mind wants to protect you.

You were born authentic. But how do you remove the layers and stop sabotaging?

You probably already tried so many things:

All those things can certainly work.

You've probably read hundreds of books, and invested in courses.

It all works, and probably gave you what you needed at the time.

I'm not saying one thing is better than the other.

I can say that if you haven't tried updating your subconscious mind with hypnotherapy or integrating your body with Reiki and it interests you - consider your curiosity and hope a sign and an invitation to explore further.

Our subconscious minds are 90% of our operating system and why we do what we do.

It's extremely powerful and deep work to bring awareness to the beliefs we've stored and give yourself new choices.

With awareness comes choice.

With choice comes change.

We can repeat affirmations; or, we can get right into your subconscious mind and update the source.

 

Changing your conscious thoughts by practicing affirmations isn't always enough on it's own. 

We forget new thoughts, don't see results, and get easily discouraged.

When we're sabotaging out of a fear of not being good enough or worthy enough, we need to go deeper.

Maybe you've carried the same goal(s) for decades.

But every time you start, something seemingly out of your control happens and stops you.

You lose momentum, and it takes a long time to reset and restart because each time you lose hope.

So you compensate externally - you do what other people want you to do. You overeat, shop, drink, or overwork.

You distract yourself until that becomes too painful and you restart the cycle.

 

It's frustrating and you may think:

"what's wrong with me?"

"why can't I do this/get this?"

"I'm just not good enough"

"there's not enough time"

"it will never work, I should stop wasting my time"

 

And this is where people typically find me and my work.

Because they've tried everything. They're exhausted from working at the level of the symptom and they're ready to work at the root level and update their subconscious mind.

Which of these fears and hidden beliefs are masking your authenticity...

and sabotaging your goals, keeping you "safe"?

"I'm not good enough"

Not smart enough, rich enough, good-looking enough, fit enough, thin enough, worldly enough...

"I don't deserve what I want"

Why should I get what I want? Shouldn't I just be grateful for what I have? Other people have it way worse.

"No one will like me"

If I don't people please, if I have it all, if I'm not perfect,  I won't belong. If I change I won't fit in with my social circle or family.

"Not enough time/money"

You have a scarcity mindset: there's never enough time, money, energy, or health to do what you want.

These fears and hidden beliefs are sabotaging your goals

and creating emotional stress.

Fight or Flight

You worry about the past and the future and rarely live in the present. You require more coffee to stay awake and rely on wine at night to fall asleep, creating a cycle.

Shame

You feel like you aren't good enough and people please to overcompensate. You frequently tell yourself you "should be happy/grateful".

Imposter Syndrome

You have imposter syndrome. You feel not good enough so you overcompensate by overworking or over giving, which leads to burn-out.

Feel Fake

Being yourself feels really unsafe, like you'll be misunderstood, make people upset, and it won't be worth it. You avoid vulnerability at all costs, and it keeps others at a distance.

Victim Mentality

You feel like life is happening "to you", not "for you". It feels out of your control and you secretly feel sorry for yourself. You've lost your spark, and bounce in your step.

Procrastination

You often procrastinate, hoping that a decision will just be made for you so you don't have to take responsibility. It's easier if it happens "to you".

Self-Sabotage

You sabotage all your goals: you either get sick, purposely or subconsciously repeat old patterns, or set yourself up for failure.

Who am I?

It's easier to be confused. You don't know who you are without labels: job title, relationship, responsibilities. You're experiencing a life transition and feel untethered.

 If any of these apply to you, your subconscious mind could be holding you back from living authentically and reaching your true goals and desires, or KNOWING your true goals and desires.

These blocks are common for all stages of growth and development and affect people on their personal development journeys. But it's possible to bring awareness to your limiting beliefs and give yourself new choices and change

How do you know if your subconscious mind is holding you back?

Let's consider a couple of things.

From the time we're born until about ~12 years old our subconscious mind is running the show while our conscious mind develops.

Meaning, we are highly suggestible and quickly adopting beliefs (just like in a hypnotic state), whether they're helpful or not, and these new beliefs are created with limited knowledge about ourselves or how the world works.

This is why we often just adopt our parents beliefs and why later in life we think we sound like them.

It never occurred to us that we had a choice in what to believe.

So most of us created or adopted harmful beliefs that hold us back while the subconscious thinks it's keeping us "safe".

But stuck is not safe.

Unless we've proactively updated those beliefs, we're likely walking around what the child version of us thought. 

In other words, we're letting 12 year old us run the show.

It's really common to feel like we aren't good enough, smart enough, rich enough, good-looking enough, or that every resource is scarce (time, money, energy, health).

But what if those beliefs aren't true? What if you expanded and gave yourself other choices? And what if you updated the root of those belief systems (in a hypnotized state when you're suggestible and quickly adopting new beliefs)?

What would be possible for you?

Let's not forget some real healing factors

Healing is not linear and we all have our own unique energetic timeline. 

We need to have self-compassion and consider:

 

šŸ§­Traumas (generational, past lives, childhood, birth, ancestral, racial, PTSD)

šŸ§­Physical Body (your unique access / challenges, muscular adaptations, DNA) 

šŸ§­Limiting Beliefs (subconscious and conscious)

šŸ§­Spirituality (your connection to your spiritual team, your faith, or none of the above)

šŸ§­Self-Knowledge + Awareness (how well you know yourself, trust yourself, have compassion)

šŸ§­Your Unique Soul Mission (life lessons, soul contracts, your astrological birth chart)

šŸ§­Season of Life (circumstances, perspectives, and support systems)

 

Notice "YOUR ABILITY TO TRY HARDER" is NOT a factor.

 

Healing is not about controlling or forcing.

Some things will be out of our control.

 

But there are worthy efforts to be made with what we can control:

šŸ§­Limiting Beliefs (giving ourselves perspective choices)

Increasing:

šŸ§­Self-Awareness and Self-Knowledge

šŸ§­Self-Trust

šŸ§­Self-Compassion

šŸ§­Patience

šŸ§­Self-Love

 

This is where Making Space comes in.

There are ways to practice and increase self-awareness, self-trust, self-compassion, forgiveness, patience, self-love.

There are ways to bring awareness to the beliefs holding you back.

You can give yourself options and choices; more than "all-or-nothing".

There are ways to update your subconscious with those new choices.

 

With awareness comes choice.

With choice comes change.

These are some common subconscious blocks - see how many ring a bell for you:

šŸ”˜"I'm just not good enough"

šŸ”˜"I'm not smart enough"

šŸ”˜"I don't deserve to have what I want" (sometimes we feel guilt for achieving a goal that others want)

šŸ”˜"I'm not good-looking enough"

šŸ”˜"I'm too old", or "I'm too young"

šŸ”˜"People won't like me if I (say no, get what I want, etc.)"

šŸ”˜"Nothing works out for me."

šŸ”˜"Being hard on myself is what makes me successful"

šŸ”˜"If I worry about something, I can prevent if from happening" (creating a false sense of control)

šŸ”˜"If I don't make a decision, it will be made for me" (which, is actually making a decision ironically)

šŸ”˜"What I'm doing isn't working, but at least it's the devil I know."

šŸ”˜There's not enough time/money/energy/resources

It's Not Your Fault

But You Can Take Back Your Power

 

You subconsciously adopted these beliefs when you were growing up - past memories, experiences, stories you were told about your worthiness and what you deserve.

The people around you (family, friends, neighbors, teachers, etc.) knowingly or unknowingly planted the seeds and you didn't know any better or different.

With every subconscious belief there's a story you're telling and it's filtering out the reality you're experiencing. It's deleting, changing, and distorting information coming in to match your subconscious beliefs.

 

The good news is you can become aware of them and give yourself new choices so they stop sabotaging you...and take back your power.

 

But, without taking back your power, you'll remain in victim-mode and feeling like there's nothing you can do.

I know making a change can be scary and uncomfortable.

But continually abandoning yourself and self-sabotaging is also uncomfortable and without the payoff of growth.

 

You can make a change.

You can take back your power.

I know how frustrating it is to have goals, be driven, persistent, and focused - only to continually sabotage your efforts and time.

Because you're so determined, you haven't given up - you wouldn't have found me otherwise.

You know deep down you're ready to move forward, you're ready to let go of the beliefs holding you back. You're ready to give yourself more options and better choices.

You've tried all the things and you're ready to get to the root and remove the layers.

What's Your 'Why'?

 

Maybe you're experiencing a transition: empty nest, completing a certificate/degree, changing jobs, a promotion, marriage, divorce, an illness, a recovery, a physical change, a new parent; or maybe everything has been the same for so long you know you need a transition but you don't know how/where to begin.

It can feel scary.

 

Liminal space requires support, witnessing, and tools - and a strong why. 

When we're in the "in-between space", we've let go of something and are reaching for something new, it can feel like a monkey swinging on a vine and it's let go of the vine behind, but is flying midair waiting to catch the new vine.

It takes a leap of faith.

 

My favorite thing to do is support people mid-flight. Provide guidance, tools, reassurance so they catch the next swinging vine.

 

This work is not altruistic BUT there are butterfly effects.

When we update our subconscious minds we also heal our generational line. Our inner work touches the people that came before us, and after us without them lifting a finger.

It's that powerful.

Your why benefits others while it benefits you.

When you connect back to your authenticity, we all benefit. Each and every one of us.

And you get to live a life of freedom, ease, flow, and alignment.

You get to feel good. 

This is not about deserving.

This is your birthright.

What happens when you change your beliefs at the root?

You were born authentic, completely confident and sparked by who you are, prioritizing growth, learning, and experience. You had a deep trust that you were supported and safe.

Once you bring awareness to stories and beliefs that block that original imprint you start to live in alignment to your true nature with less obstacles.

šŸ§­Experience abundance vs. scarcity (in time, money, health, and energy).

I know how frustrating it can be to realize you are the one sabotaging yourself and all along you had the power to shift it.

 

Once upon a time I decided I was no longer willing to carry the burden of my limiting beliefs and continue self-sabotaging my goals anymore.

It became too painful.

Now I bring awareness to my beliefs, I give myself different choices, I have compassion for my way of being and I continually work through my layers, blocks, and triggers, realizing that those things aren't a referendum on my worthiness.

This isn't the kind of work you do once and then forget about. Or you do twice and you're "cured" or "fixed". 

We aren't broken. We're perfectly whole and complete and worthy and capable of fulfilling our greatest potential.

Increasing self-awareness, self-compassion, self-love, self-trust - these things are life long lessons to practice and continue to grow and learn. 

I can't teach you how to be authentic, but I can help you bring awareness and choice to the layers masking it.

Sometimes we couple ideas together that don't belong together. They get tangled and we think one is contingent on the other.
