What is Hypnosis?

It’s a natural mental state (think of how you feel when you’re in flow or meditating). It’s a state that we all actually reach at least twice a day as we come in and out of sleep. Because of this, it is impossible to “do” hypnosis “wrong”. Although everyone has a different experience, my clients all report feeling very relaxed during hypnosis.

Where some people get confused is the difference between stage hypnosis and hypnotherapy. Stage hypnosis will only work for some people and its sole purpose is to entertain.

Hypnotherapy (what I do) is meant to heal by way of sharing a positive perspective to upload in the subconscious mind to affect change in conscious thought, actions, behavior and therefore get different results.

How Hypnotherapy Helps 


It spotlights the beliefs holding you back and allows you to imprint a new perspective and change your thought pattern.

Put simply, hypnotherapy is a modality that uses positive affirmations to program the subconscious mind (90% of our operating system).

When we're kids, we're very quick to adopt beliefs of others because our brainwaves are at the perfect "suggestibility" speed.

When we adopt a new thought, this quickly becomes a belief that we carry throughout our life unless we decide to change it.

Thoughts create feelings, feelings make us act a certain way, and our actions create the results in our lives.

Hypnotherapy is a safe and effective way to program positive belief systems about ourselves, our worthiness and will have a direct impact on the results in our lives.
